Developing healthy eating habits isn’t as confusing as many people imagine. The number one rule in our house is that we eat a wide variety of foods. So we don’t become bored. Secondly, we always have fruit, vegetables, grains, protein and low-fat dairy with most of our meal planning.

One big thing in our house is Time Management ….plan as much as you can; it will help you with your success of trying to eat healthy. Also, always try to get your family involved with meal planning and preparation. My kids love helping to set the table and prepare vegetables! It’s also a great help, especially where everyone is looking forward to a great dinner!
