Just Add Water!

Lemon Lime WaterWhen I’m dripping with sweat after a workout, nothing tastes better than a sip (or guzzle) of water. Other times, not so much. I’ll admit: water loses some of its wow factor when I’m sitting at a desk, driving or eating dinner.

Water makes up more than half our body weight, and healthy hydration helps keep us energized and free of toxins.

Most people know the eight-cups-a-day rule, it is recommended that men drink about 13 cups of water per day ; women can get away with just nine.

If you want to add a little pep in your water to make it more pleasant, just about anything fruity can add pizzazz. I love limes or lemons in my water or slicing up some cucumber is also tasty.
