What to expect

Mactech Educators use a dynamic process to ensure that their instructional plans meet the learning needs of their students.

Together, we will develop a training program to meet your unique needs. Every program incorporates a lively interactive approach that encourages participation. Our instructors possess a wealth of practical and theoretical experience. Having occupied support, administrative and management positions, they are able to pass on first-hand knowledge and experience to students who want to excel in the IT industry.

  • We teach as a team, exposing students to diverse, professional backgrounds.
  • The Instructors have superb Educational and Business credentials
  • Our learning environment includes the Internet which maximizes student-student and instructor-student interactions.
  • With over a century of combined teaching experience, we provide quality training and service because we understand the basic principle of positive relationships -"When you succeed, we succeed."
  • We teach materials that span disciplinary boundaries constructively.
  • We teach the same software applications and internet procedures that we actively use in our day-to-day work.
  • We are lifelong learners. Consistently, we incorporate new applications into our curriculum to keep you on-top of the latest technology.

Distance learning is flexible but there is structure!

Although you’re free to start at any time, and free to work at any time or any place, students must adhere to the Submission Schedule and Mactech’s Attendance Policy to remain an Active Student at the College.

Students are required to attend 25 hours per week to satisfy the Policy and to ensure knowledge of the material is sound so they are employable upon graduation.

Talk to your Admissions Representative to ensure that your start date begins when your schedule can accommodate the new responsibilities you’re about to take on.

Motivation & Success

Although you won’t be sitting in a classroom with a hundred other people, you will never be left all on your own. The instructors will make a point to get in touch with you every week.

It can be difficult to be motivated when you’re sitting by yourself in your study space without a classroom to attend. There is also a private Forum where you can chat with your classmates and seek, or provide peer assistance.
