I would like to say thank you for all the help that you have given me. The studies that I have taken are paying off already as people and businesses are seeking my advice as well as my services. John Klassen - Visual Publishing and Web Design

North Sydney, Nova Scotia - On November 11th, we will mark Remembrance Day - a day observed in Commonwealth countries since the end of World War 1 to remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.

Remembrance Day gives Canadians an opportunity to honour veterans and our forces members currently serving around the world.

With the recent acts of violence against Canadian soldiers, this Remembrance Day holds special meaning for many. It’s important to understand that generations of veterans have served our country and have made sacrifices and contributions that ensure we live in a free and peaceful country. Remembrance Day ceremonies and services will be held across the country on Tuesday, November 11.

In recognition of Remembrance Day, Mactech Distance Education will be closed for the day. Staff will be attending Remembrance Day services with their families and we encourage our students to attend services in your community to show your support and remember those who have fought for our freedom.
