Sydney, Nova Scotia – Mactech Distance Education was pleased to support this year’s Children’s Wish Foundation Princess Tea Party as The Imperial Cupcake Sponsor.

On May 25th, 2014 the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre, decorated in true fairy tale style, was transformed in to a fantasy palace complete with a King and Queen.
The Princess Tea Party is an afternoon of everything princess! The tea party began with cupcakes and tea for all and continued with a vibrant stage show, princess pampering parlour, face painting, craft tables, belly dancing, silent auction, and plenty more princess (and pirate) fun!

Every detailed was attended to, ensuring a jam-packed afternoon of fun for all in attendance including the "Wish Princess", Gianna, whose most heartfelt wish will be funded by the event. Volunteering were Mactech staff members Kim MacInnis, Christa Fortune, Laurie Hancock, and Laurie's daughter Morgan Hancock.

Meghan MacInnis, who attended the Princess Tea with her daughters, says, “The (Princess Tea) party was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, having fun, making memories all while teaching my children about generosity, hope and strength.”
