After hosting the webinars for the last 18 months, MDE has compiled some answers to frequently asked questions:
What is a Webinar?
A webinar is a presentation or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. Webinars are used when an organization needs to make presentations to a group of people spread out over a large geographical area. A key feature of a webinar is its interactive elements - the ability to give, receive and discuss information and ask questions in real-time as opposed to a one way data transmission or lecture.
How will the Repayment Webinar Benefit me?
MDE Student Debt Coordinator, Christa Fortune, says “Having the knowledge to manage student loan debt can go a long way in helping students feel comfortable about repayment. The webinar will provide you with the tools you need to stay informed on how to repay your student loan and provide information on the debt relief programs available if student loan payments become difficult. The webinar is very informative and will only take about an hour of your time.”
